How can I attach an excel file into Adobe Acrobat Pro XI document?

I attached an excel document into Adobe Acrobat Pro XI but it is unable to open. I don't know if there is something I am doing wrong or if excel is Adobe doesn't allow to attach excel documents.

I can attach an excel document just fine using Acrobat XI. The only thing I can think of is that if you don't have Excel on the computer on which you're trying to open the XLS file.

What kind of error message are you getting?
