    SWF on Sharepoint

I have created training videos (interactive) with Adobe Captivate and generated swf files. These files are directly placed on a sharepoint per upload
As I have installed the Adobe Flash Player with an automatic connection to my internet explorer, everything runes just fine. But I wonder what happens if some of my users just have a standard installation of the Adobe Flash Player. Will it also open the files directly in the internet explorer window?
I had the chance to test it with some colleagues. There it worked. But I am not sure if it will do so everytime as a standard behaviour. Does anyone know more about this?
