      Hi

Is there any light at the end of the tunnel for using Air with Vista. The article http://www.adobe.com/go/kb403133 is completely useless

      Thanks.

This issue doesn't occur often; on most Vista systems, AIR runs without problems.

If you have run into this issue, you should be able to address it by correcting the registry permissions. There's some information on this on the web; see for example http://www.brianpeek.com/blog/archive/2007/11/29/weird-vista-registry-issue.aspx. (Please note I have *not* validated these instructions myself.)

            Hi Oliver

I tried the fixed mentioned in Brian Peeks article, but no success.

I did enter the registry though and found that there were indeed permission issues, I added myself to the registry and gave full permissions to test the install if Adobe Air.

I installed and sure enough it worked.

I do have installations for Permiere, After Effects & Fireworks. I thought that by fixing Air, that these would also be fixed, but, no go. I still cannot install, they go through the first part of the install, and before the Agreement comes up everything vanishes, though setup.exe is still running in the background. No matter how long its left, it just sits there doing noting. Again, sounds like some kind of permission issue.

At least Air is working now.

Thanks for point me in the right direction.
