Well, that problem is very common.
When you load the xml file pass to the url a variable in GET style. I mean:
doesn't matter the name and the value of the varible. This method makes the xml to be taken dynamically but the xml file is static so the server always sends the current xml file.
Note: Probably if you test it on local it will throws an error. You'll have to test it onLine.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me. It loaded on the web alright (not locally as you said) but it didn't take the new xml file.
Something that I find really bizzarre though - if I change the name of the swf file and call the new swf file from the same html page it still picks up the old xml file (it does it for the normal load as well as your new method)
Make sure you're not doing that literally as Alberto posted. That was intended to be an example only. So anyvalue needs to be different each time it is to be loaded.
