Design specs device?

If I'm not mistaken there was no device specification for the output of design specs before? Anyhow, I don't see any difference to these three options. When I publish android art boards as iOS art boards, or as Web for that matter. So what's the purpose of these three options?

It's for exporting assets in different resolutions (2x, 3x etc): tagproducts_SG_XD_i18nKeyHelppagetitle

So what should I choose if I'm not exporting assets but only art boards layouts then?
