I'm developing a kiosk application, and one of the things
I'll need to do is "fake" a browser inside my app; that is, load an
external web page (e.g., Google maps) into a browser that appears
to be part of the kiosk. I know I can accomplish this with Zinc,
but if I could do it with AIR, I'd much rather investigate that,
since Zinc currently has other issues -- especially with AS3's
I know absolutely nothing about developing for AIR. I have it
installed and functioning, but I don't even know where to look for
how to program AS3 to take advantage of it. If anyone can provide
any direction, I would love to hear it! Thanks!
Thanks for the heads-up. I'd never heard of Shu until now.
However, I'm still at a complete loss on how to program for
AIR -- I'd still like to know where to find more robust
documentation or perhaps some example source files that do more
than say "Hello, world." I'll continue to look around...thanks
