crash after scanning

26 pages and arcobat is not able anymore to scan this ... it crashes without any reason. had crashes wit LR last week - also without a reason. the help didnt work for quite a while, spent several hours ..

support from adobe - inexistent, just this forum, where i can hope that someone stumbles over this message. i pay over 800$ each year ... acrobat is one of the dumbest programms and it got worse over the years. just every second year they change the gui - but it gets worse each time ... simple things like to set threshold in a black and white scan are missing.

an then the mixing of languages - some german, some english - what a mess. if you dont provide a full german translation, than let it be.

tried to cancel my plan for july 2019, but this is not possible - adobe would cancel my account in month time but would collect the rest of the plan. you are thiefs and as soon as possilbe, i will get an alternative ...

Are you running the latest version of the application? Open Acrobat>Help>About Acrobat DC.

The latest update of Adobe Acrobat DC 2019.008.20080 had a fix for the crash/freeze issue which should have been fixed with this release. You may try couple of troubleshooting steps suggested below and let us know if that fixes the issue-

1- Install the optional security patch through DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

2- Try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the help document here-Troubleshooting tips for scanner issues when using Acrobat

Also,  Troubleshoot errors, freezes | Adobe Reader | Windows

3- If nothing works, the use cleaner tool to uninstall the application Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

and reinstall through- Download and install Acrobat DC subscription
