the default application for .dir files will be D11.
to work with D10 you must start first your D10 and then open
the project. If you open an existing project with D11, it will connvert
the .dir's and casts into the newer format.
so it will not be possible to mix up the IDE
Well, the installation of Dir. 11 has hosed my ability to run Director MX 2004. Anyone have suggestion on getting it working again? I have dumped prefs and repaired permissions.....
Running on an Intel Mac Mini, 2 Gigs of RAM, under 10.4.11.
I've got MX 2004 and 11 running on my Mac Mini here with no issues at all. It must be something to do with your system rather than a problem with Director itself.
I have both versions installed on Windows XP with no problems.
