    Fake Flash Update

This morning I received a pop up to update my my "Flash," so I clicked on the link and followed the prompts. But this part and name looked suspicious, so I stopped. Is this a legitimate site or not? I took a screenshot.

Thanks for double-checking.  Yes, the link is legitimate.

To avoid the situation, you can opt into Background Updates (update option = Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)).  This option updates all Flash Player plugins (e.g. NPAPI for Firefox/Safari and PPAPI plugin for Chromium-based browsers) within 24 hours of an update being available.  On the contrary, the Notification Update option only updates a single Flash Player plugin (whichever one made check for an update) and can take up to 7 days to notify the user that an update is available.
