Error message when placing video (Mp4) -error message: Cannot preview the media, not connected to Internet or the file is not on the server.

Hi there,

I am trying to place a  video in InDesign however is it keeps coming up with the same message: Cannot preview the media, not connected to Internet or the file is not on the server.

I have checked that the file is linked.

Tried importing both by placing and adding through Media option.

I am connected to the internet....

Any idea on what i can do to resolve this?

It will not automatically preview. You have to preview the video in the EPUB Interactivity Preview Panel.

Hey - Thanks for your reply - the problem is it doesnt even upload......let alone pre-view. How do i get it to upload?

What do you mean by upload? What type of output are you planning on using? For interactive PDF this is going to be a complete crapshoot.
