Options greyed out when opening an image from Ligthroom

Good day

I cannot seem to edit an image in Photoshop when opening from Lightroom, my options are greyed out.

I am aware that this is a known issue, and I have tried the workaround, however, when right-clicking an image and selecting to edit in Photoshop 2019, the image simply does not open in Photoshop.

Any suggestions?

It's a known bug. As a workaround, make sure Photoshop is running before sending the file from Lightroom, or disable the Home screen in Photoshop. (Preferences > General)
