    FLV ad without the player?

    StanWelks Level 1
      How can I create a .FLV that does not look like it is embedded in a player, just a vertical or horizontal banner size ad with video with an audio icon for turning sound on or off, and a play or pause button? There is an Apple ad on http://www.gizmodo.com that I am basing my idea on. It is near the top of the page on the right side.

      Thanks for any info.

          Upon import of video to flash set NO skin in player skin preferences.

          For the sound control you will need to use the sound object.
          You can define global volume so no matter what is running within the file will
          be subjected to the volume change.
          For instance, to reduce the video volume:

          var global_sound:Sound = new Sound();
          global_sound.setVolume(0);

          to set it back on:

          var global_sound:Sound = new Sound();
          global_sound.setVolume(100);
