    Modules and Compiled CSS

      I am having a serious problem with compiled styles in modules:

      I've reduced the problem to the following simple case. As a forenote, I do not want to use runtime stylesheets. Lets say I have a module with the following mxml:

      <mx:Module xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml">
      <mx:Style source="assets/style.css" />

      The problem is that I want to be able to load and unload the module and I also want the styles to be removed from the application. However, I have tried everything to unload the module with the styles and the styles persist indefinitely in my Application. In fact, with the compiled styles, I am unable to get the module to unload. This must be because the compiled styles creates references that prevent gc. Without the compiled styles, the module unloads fine.

      Anyone have any ideas?
