Use loader objects to load in each .swf. You can then load in each one individually. The loader object has a complete event. You can use each complete event to trigger the next loading.
Once each swf is loaded, you can position it off the visible area of the stage. Then, when you want to use it, you can move it to the position that you want.

Does this require AS 3. Cause my design will not work in AS3 only 2.
No, AS2 is fine. The help topics has a lot of info on how to do this, I believe.
