    JSFL Help

    Rothrock Level 5
I'm just getting into a little bit of JSFL. I want to look through a specific folder and see if the contents are set to export for AS and if so what the linkage ID is. I've figured out how to do it for all items in the library, but I can't figure out how to limit it to a specific folder.

I want to select the folder, run the command, and have the output displayed in the trace panel. The code attached below almost works, but it checks every item in the library.

Your looping through the whole Library, looks like. Your for() loop is
inside the if() that checks if the selection is a folder. Instead, you'll
want to cycle among the items of the *selected* folder. Note, you can even
cycle among a list of selected items -- see library.getSelectedItems() -- so
it may be worth your while to loop through that, as well.

Ah, I didn't realize that selection a folder would also "select" all its contents and return them with getSelectedItems(). I guess I should have tried that.

Thanks. I think I should be able to do this now.
