G’day,

in Adobe Photoshop we have opened 2 invoices generated by the SAME accounting system and then saved in JPG format.

We applied following PS tools with the following settings to BOTH files:

Image > Adjustments > Invert

Image > Adjustments > Exposure where we set Offset to -0.5 and Gamma Correction to -9.99

In one file all details are very clear and consistent, in another file appearance (brightness, contrast, sharpness) of all details is different: blurry, not sharp, faded, etc

I will appreciate if someone will let me know why we have DIFFERENT appearance, reflection of details in the files generated by the SAME accounting system after applying SAME Photoshop tolls with the SAME settings

Thank you in advance

The tools you mention have absolutely nothing to do with it. In any case an exposure adjustment will not have any effect on an image containing only black and white values.

What's more relevant is the image size in pixels, and the jpeg compression level. Both of those are determined by the jpeg authoring application.
