Application unable to start correctly (0x0000007b)

About 2 weeks ago, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC  2015.006.30565 started displaying the message "AcroCEF.exe - Application Error  The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000007b), Click OK to close the application", If I click OK six times the message disappears and Acrobat appears to open normally. However, as time passed Acrobat started displaying anomalous behavior like documents displaying red question marks and the inability to save documents. These problems grew worse.

I also saw 0xc000005's and 0xc000041d's in Acrobat.exe in the Windows Application event log.

I tried running a Help/Repair it started, but it apparently did not complete. I downloaded a fresh install and ran it. The application error (0x0000007b) is still occurring, but many of the problems are not happening. However, if I modify a document and try to do a "Save as" it still brings up a blank window with only the header displayed, rather than prompting for a location and name.

How can I resolve this problem?

I am running Windows 10 version 1803 with all current maintenance. What follows is the Acrobat System Info, prior to the reinstall

Thank you for your response. Disabling the "Show online storage when saving files" option appears to have resolved the "Save as" problem.

However, reinstalling/repairing the C++ libraries did not resolve the AcroCEF  0x0000007b.

How can I resolve this problem? Thanks, - Steve
