One of the very nice features of writing Lingo scripts in MX
is the color coding which the language automatically makes as you
write the code. Since I use a lot of comments, it clarifies the
scripts that have been written and also points out errors as you
write them when an item doesn’t turn blue like it should
have. But when I print the scripts all that is lost. Is there a
way, short of taking snapshots of the screen, of reproducing the
colored version when you make a hard copy of the script?
On your Mac you can copy and paste the script text into a
TextEdit rich text document and print from there. I suppose you
could paste it into a text member and print that if you wanted to
do it from within Director. I don't know if it copies the
formatting when you do it in Windows.
