Hi,
I have trouble printing light colours and was wondering if it has to do with Illustrator? The light yellows, pinks and greys etc turn out a bit spotty. See https://ibb.co/3hSqy11 for an example. Does anyone know what's going on?
Is there transparency in your file? Because if there's no transparency, then there's nothing to flatten.
This just happens with bad printers.

What makes you think this is caused by Illustrator?
I think it has more to do with your printer.

Well, I was just thinking about the possibilities. Could flattening the image cause this?

Hi Lucy,
Sorry to hear about this. As Chris said, it could be related to the printer as well. Please check with another printer if possible, along with that please go through this help article to know more about: Printing with color management in Illustrator.
