    getting a graphic to stop

      I have created a animation of a bird flying onto the field and then landing. I can not however seem to get it to just stop and sit there. It will follow the path, land, then loop into the flight sequence again. I have tried going into the graphics properties and changing the play from loop to once but it does not seem to work. is this done with actionscript and if so what is the script and on what frame do i post it?

          Sounds like there's a movie clip involved within your graphic. Inside the movie clip (that is, in the element which contains the actual timeline of the bird's movements), create a new layer for Actions, then on the last frame put this:

          stop();

          If that doesn't work, check whether any animated cats are scaring the bird away.
