    Can't install on OS X

    doug_m
I'm trying to install Adobe Air 1.0 (not the SDK) on OS X 10.4.11 (PowerPC G4) and the install keeps crapping out with the following error:

      quote:

      Sorry, an error has occurred

An error has occurred while installed Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator.

Before the error the installer prompts for my password, which I enter. The user account is the administrator too. I haven't been able to get past this yet.

      Thanks,
      Doug

First step is to enable installer logging; see http://blogs.adobe.com/simplicity/2007/10/air_installer_logging.html. If you'd like, post the log file and I'll take a look.

I see the error, but I don't know what it means.
