I have a video that I would like to do the following with: 1)
playback one area of the screen at the given size, 2) resize
another area to make it bigger. The video must be embedded in a
.swf for a number of reasons.
I assume it would be most efficient if I can do this using
two instances of the embedded video, but I don't know how to do. If
I put two instances on the stage side by side (left and right), is
there a way to change the viewable part of the video so that I can
close in the left side of the right video to the right and close in
the the right side of the left video?
you could use the freeTransform tool to scale, and a mask
over the video area. although you would probably have more success
if using the FLVPlayback Component and storing the video
externally, you're file will be very large.
