In general, to grab a screenshot including video, you should set the
directtostage property of the video member to false.

Here's the answer. I must upgrade to MpegAdvanceXtra v1.5.2
Looks like you've found your answer, but for posterity sake, the
scrnXtra can take a screenshot of the stage including DTS items like
movies, flash, 3d sprites, etc.
This is a very cool xtra however it does not copy the mpeg frame as it plays. It is still shown as a black box.
The xtra listed in my last post does work. I can play the mpeg and it will screen shot it. The DirectMedia xtra I am currently using does not support turning ON and OFF the DTS. There is actually no property for that. The new MpegAdvanceXtra v1.5.2 does support that function and can therefore be screen captured.
Thanks for the link to this xtra. I may end up using it yet!
