    Mouse Click syntax

      What the code for if i click the mouse on something. I know that if I want to register when I press a key, the code is
      if(Key.isDown(65))
      {
      code code code
      }
      I want something similar but I don't know the syntax for
      if(myMovieClip.mouseClick)
      {
      code
      }

      I knows it's not .mouse click like I wrote above. If anyone does know that would be very helpful to me.

          if you want to trigger something when a movieclip is clicked, you can use the onPress or onRelease method of movieclips.

          if you want to trigger something no matter the location of the mouse, you can use the onMouseDown and onMouseUp method of movieclips.
