    Images going bad

      Hello,
I have an image for a web site. Its too bib as it is but when I reduce it in size it loses it crispness and it becomes all jagged. I tried saving as Png and using the smooth option in the library properties of the image when I do its looks smooth but when I test the movie it becomes jagged again any one know how to reduce my images size and keep its high quality?

I wouldn't save as a png unless you are trying to import something with a transparent background and you should use png-8. I would save as a jpg, go to 4 up, and take down the quality watching the top right photo until it is low enough and looks good enough. Make sure you size this the right size for your flash file, don't resize in flash.
