I am doing an online course which requires me to have Adobe DC reader and links me to installer.  The installer asks me for my password.  To my knowledge, I have never had an Adobe password and have no idea which email it would be connected to if I did have account - I can't even remember what my first email was.   So i created an Adobe account and still can't install the reader so I can do what I need to do.  Apparently this is the only place I can get help.  Help.

When you are installing or updating on a Mac, that is your Mac asking you to prove that you have permission by asking for your COMPUTER password, not your Adobe password https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2139902
