I am in Edit mode. I clicked on the preview tab at the top and then clicked on project--shows the slides, but not audio. If I click on preview this slide the audio plays.
You might try clicking Preview > In Web Browser and see if you have audio there.
You may also wish to click Edit > Preferences > Project node > Settings node and ensure the option labeled: "Include audio when project is generated" is enabled. It normally is, but it never hurts to double, check.
Additionally, this might have something to do with Flash Player/Plug In version 10 being installed. There have been other issues reported but those all have had to do with full motion video missing.
I tried the project preview in the storyboard mode, and that worked. thanks for your help!
Here's a possibly related problem. I find I'm unable to get imported sounds to play in movie preview or published movies. They play just fine in single-screen preview, but not in "preview next 5 slides" or in full movie previews. When I go to the Advanced Audio Management panel, I see the sound clips listed by file name and duration, but nothing appears in the columns for file size, audio sample rate, or bit rate. Has anyone else experienced this? Found any fixes? Thanks.
Thanks very much, Rick. "Include audio" was turned on in Publish settings. But the "Edit" dropdown doesn't lead me to a Project node>Publish Settings node, so I'm guessing that my Captivate version 2, which I'm running on a Vista machine, may be the problem. And an upgrade to version 4 may need to be in my future. Thanks again for your quick reply!
> Ahhh silly me! Captivate 2 doesn't work with Vista. (But you probably

> Yep, if you are on Vista, you should consider upgrading.
Does it work if you run it in compatibility mode?
