I'm converting my Flash tools to HTML5 Canvas in Animate CC. When I add a dynamic text box to a frame and test or publish, I get a "A JavaScript error occurred" message. What can I do to avoid this? Thanks

Thanks for the help. For some reason, when I made new (and identical) dynamic text boxes, putting them in their own layer, the error no longer appeared.

Is this dynamic textbox in one or more frames?

no

In your main timeline?

yes

Does it appear only briefly inside an animation?

not before creating new text boxes

Do you have any text in the dynamic text box?

not initially

Are you using web fonts?

yes

Hi Mark

Hard to tell.

Do you have any text in the dynamic text box?

Are you using web fonts?

Please describe a bit more the circumstances. Or share your file with us.
