    Photo Album Application

    mcgooie
I have to create a dynamic photo album application - i.e. add photo(s) to certain albums, remove photos, search for specific photos.

I am coming back to use Director for the first time in about 3 years and i was wondering if anyone out there could offer me some help as to the best way to create this application?

      Many thanks

          Hi,
is this application for offline (local) use or online?

I have done something similar a while ago, it uses an online database
and images stored on a webserver.

It uses XML for data exchange.

Is this something you are looking to do?

          Good luck,
          Richard.

            Hi Richard,

Im not 100% sure yet which way im going to go for, but at the moment i think the online option is the best way to go. The way you did yours sounds to be something similar to what i am hoping to achieve and id really appreciate if i could take a look at yours if possible.

Im not sure if there are rules against posting email addresses on the forums here, so il wait for a reply before posting.

Ive not done much with XML but i should be ok with it and i thought it might be one way to do this.

            Thanks

                Hi again,
the problem is that it is all in the archive now, it is not a live
                site.
                :-(

I have to find the time to dig it up and put it back online.

                Richard.
