          We need more info to provide an accurate solution.

          But, if you have an instance on the timeline with a stop() in it so it is
          stopped and it's instance name is myMovie, then
          myMovie.play() would work from the _parent timeline for myMovie. If myMovie
          instance is on your _root timeline, then simply myMovie.play(); will do it.

              well i have a symbol of a row of squares that turn...now im placing them over a button... i only want them to turn when the button is clicked.... its a nav bar so there's 7 different buttons, therefore, 7 different symbols of the squares... i want each symbol of squares to turn when the appropriate button is clicked... where and what actionscript would i use??
