    ViewStack & Children

I am using ViewStacks and custom components inside them in my application. The deferred creation of those child views is causing some issues and I have been able to work around them by calling a function when the child view triggers creationComplete to set my properties and call functions in my components.

The above approach works. However, I wonder if there is a better approach to this. I don't want to set creationPolicy to all, as I have very elaborate components in the child views and want the application to remain responsive upon first load.

So, the question is how to properly do this. Fact is that I need to set properties and call functions in my components when they come into view. The problem is that the deferred creation will trigger errors when calling those properties or methods in the components until the view is fully created.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to go about it?

      Thanks,
