    Masking

    memoirmedia
Using Photoshop (CS2) I can mask an image using a clipping mask an still have control of moving the image around but I haven't figured out how to do with FW8. I know how to mask in FW using the various methods of cut and paste but I have to have my image in place before hand. If I wish to move it then the mask moves as well. Is there a way to mask using two separate layers like in PS?

      Thanks a lot,

Click on the link between the thumbnails of the mask object in the
layers panel to unlock it. Grab the blue diamond shaped thingy in the
middle of the image with your cursor and drag.
