Is the page the swf is on at www.sample.com? If it is at something else or even at sample.com (which for some reason a lot of folks can't believe isn't the same as www.sample.com!) then you will need a cross-domain swf. I don't know exactly how to do that, but that could give you a start.
no its not at sample.com,
just get the datas from sample.com
What I mean is are the two in exactly the same domain?
no its not, its at two domains
as u said cant feed the varibles from other domain
Tnote at adobe for that
Any way to avoide this?
It can be done, you just need to set up a cross-domain policy file. I just don't know how to do that. I've never needed one. I suppose I should learn someday. :)
There should be lots of cross-domain posts here and/or there should be some tutorials out there. There were some changes in Flash 8 in how they work and I think you should assume that folks might have the Flash 8 (or newer) player. They are more restrictive, but scripting for them shouldn't break if they happen to have earlier – at least that is my simple understanding. Good luck.
