    Batching/ DW Roundtrip Problem

    Modemguy
I wanted to create a website for my mother. I had all the photos saved as symbols in one Fireworks file but saved each file individually by using the slice tool. In DW I chose "Create a Web Gallery" and had it batch the files I saved which it did but I chose the wrong size to batch them. Then I decided to save each individual slice manually. However when I try to export a slice from Fireworks it ends up looking like the previously batched files!!! How can I stop this?

      Thanks ahead of time.

Why did you convert them to symbols?

I usually create one png file for every website where I import and create all the images and assetts for the site. In this case I had imported the art work into the png file and save them as symbols so I can use fireworks as my artboard. It also allows me to export the files as optimized web-ready images. Somehow when I had the original files batched using the "create web gallery" command in DW and batched them to the wrong size (144x144) has caused a problem when I try to save the slices of my symbols.

Fireworks memory can sometimes be persistent. You might have to copy
everything and paste it onto a new canvas.
