SInce the movies will play sequentially, you can just load the first one from the root timeline, and put a stop on the frame it plays on. In the SWF that you loaded, have _root.play(); at the end, and then the main time line will go to the next frame where you can load the next one.
If you want to keep it all on one frame in the main movie, then you can actually put the call to load the second SWF in a frame script at the end of the first SWF you loaded.
Thanks a lot. The method did work for me when i put _root.play(); at the end of the sub movie clips which are loaded onto the movieclip in the main movie. It worked fine when i was viewing it in flash player. But when published and viewed in Internet explorer, the sub movie plays again and again without loading the next movie. Can someone please help me with this thing...........
Hi, sorry I've been swamped with work and had no time to check the forums. You have to tell the main movie to play again from the loaded movie. You have to keep applying this technique to get through all the movies you're loading and playing.
I completely agree with kalibahlutwo's last post - cause that is exactly what i do.
