      Hi there,

      I've published a flash swf and html project which contains links to other websites. I need to make the websites open in a new browser and have used the following javascript script to try to achieve this:

      in the flash document (assigned to a button):
      on (release) {
      getURL("javascript:openNewWindow(' http://earth.google.com/','googleearth','height=800,width=600,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes') ");
      }

      in the html head:
      <SCRIPT LANGUAGE=JavaScript>
      function openNewWindow(URLtoOpen, windowName, windowFeatures) {
      newWindow=window.open(URLtoOpen, windowName, windowFeatures);
      }
      </SCRIPT>

      in the html body:
      <A HREF=javascript:openNewWindow(' http://earth.google.com/','googleearth','height=800,width=600,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes') ></A>

      I got this method from this website here:
      http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14192

      But it doesn't work in IE6 or Firefox. Even when I download the example from the above page, that doesn't work either!

      Any ideas?
