Try setting window.type = #dialog instead
I use window.type = #dialog and now I have resizeable pop up and that is not what I wont.I check in director 9 and there is modal syntax
Well, the problem is that you are not using Director 9, and since there
is no #modal option in the version you are using, you really should try
to stick with what is available in Director 10. You can use a #tool
dialog (be aware that #tool windows work differently in Authoring and in

To make the #dialog window non-resizable you open the file and go to the
(new) Display Template tab of the Property Inspector. Uncheck Resizable.
While you're at it, remove any titlebar buttons you don't want by
unchecking them, too.
