Im gonna upgrade to Director 11.....

    ImLearningW3D
Does Director 11 support Director MX2004 lingo?
Will any of my earlier projects, ie. done in MX2004, work properly in Director 11? Are there any conversion issues?

I ask because I have had no experience with Director 11 and we are going to do an upgrade asap. Are there any hidden bugs with older lingo?

      Any comments welcome.

          Yes.
          Yes.
          No.
No, but there're bugs related to other things.

            Hi,

As Nanomedia said, Director 11 will support things done in D10 (MX 2004). The Lingo
            will work fine.

There may be conversion issues in that Director 11 treats text very differently to
D10. So, you may have to adjust formatting of any text members. If you're using any
Xtras, you may have to check if they've been updated to D11. Are you on Windows or
Mac? On mac, any third party Xtras will have to be updated to D11 compatible.

There are always hidden bugs in every software package. D10 has bugs. D11 has new
bugs. Key thing is to thoroughly test when you've converted your files.

            regards
