Unable to load component 4 - Can't Edit Topics

installed RoboHelp X5.

When I click to create a new project, i get the message "Unable to load component 4". The new project is saved. when I try to edit the first topic it cannot be edited. I imported a word document successfully but I cannot edit those pages either; nor can I cut & paste to any pages.

running xp Pro with 20gb hard drive and 1 gb RAM.
