Dreamweaver   MS Windows  to  Apple Mac

    Essex2Let.co.uk

I use to manage my site using Dreamweaver on MS XP software. I now have a Mac and have copied over my website to a directory on my Mac. Have sussed-out how to get my site into 'Manage Sites' now it all looks like I can continue to manage my site, but when I open my index.html it only displays the website text on a white background.

Can anyone shed any light on why my site is not looking as it should?
Do I have to run my site through a MS Windows to Mac convertor or something?

I notice when I created a plain webpage on my Dreamweaver CS3 on the Mac it has a file extension of .xhtml.

Please help as I am struggerling to convert...

      thank you in advance.

HTML is HTML whether on Windows or Linux or Macintosh. There should be no
need to do anything - the files should be immediately viewable/editable.
Make sure you transferred all the files though - it sounds like you may have
left some behind. How did you do the transfer?

That's wrong. Are you SURE it had that extension?
