I am running CF version 6 on a Windows 2003 server.

I cannot list the contents of a mapped drive directories using the CFDIRECTORY tag:

my tag looks like this:

"<cfdirectory action="list" directory="F:\web\reports\" sort="DateLastModified DESC" name="myDirrs" filter="*.cfm" >"

Any suggestions as to how I can make the contents of this directory "visible"?

Thank you,

faajohn

What user is the ColdFusion service set to run under. If it is the
default "localhost" user, this user has no permissions to view remote
systems via either a mapped drive nor a UNC path.

You have to either give the localhost user on the CF system permission
to the remote systems or, a better pratice, create a specific user for
the ColdFusion service with the required permissions what this CF server
needs to do.

If you plan to use a mapped drive, remember that the given service user
needs to have the mapping, not just the people who log into the system.
