Newbie - Basic Question on Fireworks

    Mactavsy
      Sorry, very new to this.
I want to use photos to make a collage, eg have a background photo and then place smaller photos on top (some with overlapping edges) to create a scrapbook effect and then print this off to use as a card for someone.
I don't have Photoshop or any fancy software but I have Fireworks although I have had very little time to use it.
Can anyone help to answer this basic question and perhaps even direct me to some kind of tutorial if it is possible.
      Many thanks

Fireworks is probably not the best tool to use for this.

You could download Picassa 2 which is the free image tool from Google, which
has a built in tool to do this > Create > Picture Collage.
