Did you find a solution to this? I am having the same issue. Thanks.
I am have this issue too. It seems related to Flash Player 9?
I have too!!
I think this issue is very related to Flash Player 9.
I tried printing FlasPaper file on two PC.
One of PC installed Flash Player 8 another PC installed Flash Player 9 version.
Black bar occur to only 9 version installed PC.
And issue is occured from included font subset on PDF file.
Not included font subset on PDF file is no problem.
So are you saying if you DON'T include a Font Subset in the PDF that is converted, that you don't see the problem?
Do any of you happen to be using Futura as your font? I seem to clear up the issue if I don't use it and I use a more generic system font like Arial in the PDF.
Has anyone actually received an answer about why this occurs? It doesn't seem to be consistent. We have the same problem where sometime the FP document prints fine and others it prints black bars in the place of text. I think that most of our files were also PDFs that were converted to Flash Paper.
I have this too.
But there is an interesting fact: If I create SWF from PDF, I get some bars instead of the text.
But I can see the bars even with older player versions. -
The interesting thing is, that previously createt SWFs (half year ago) are okay and work fine, even if the method was exactly the same. - The newly created swfs are bad, the older ones are good.
