          please empty frame (fF) while authoring and simply send your timeline there whenever
          you want to get rid of content

          no idea, never used on line based forum, using regular news reader, no pages to flip through,
          no logins, no SLOW annoying browsing...

              you can't clear frame while you run flash movie, there is no such thing in flash
              to just purge your stage. You need to make an Empty frame on your timeline and when
              you want to move there, simply use the gotoAndStop("labelNameofEmptyFrame"); action

                  Hello:

                  just in case all your Movies created Dynamicly (Attachmovie,createMovie,loadMovie)

                  in this case just add removeMovieClip unloadMovie command in order to clear objects from the next frame

                  try this:

                  at Frame 1:
                  _root.attachMovie("circle", "circle1_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth());

                  this.attachMovie("circle", "circle2_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth(), {_x:100, _y:100});

                  and at Frame 2:

                  circle1_mc.removeMovieClip();
                  circle2_mc.removeMovieClip();

                  wish this help

                  regards

                    //I can't remove the movie clip at all using unload or removeClip.
                    q)how can i remove the movieclip image?

                    var bmp1:BitmapData = BitmapData.loadBitmap("cave1");

                    this.createEmptyMovieClip("mc1", this.getNextHighestDepth());
                    mc1.attachBitmap(bmp1, this.getNextHighestDepth());

                    mc1._x=100;

                    this.createEmptyMovieClip("mc4", this.getNextHighestDepth());
                    mc4.attachBitmap(bmp1, this.getNextHighestDepth());
                    mc4._x=0;
                    mc4._y=0;
                    // trace(this);

                    mcnext.onPress = function()
                    {
                    nextFrame();
                    mc1.unloadClip();
                    mc4.unloadClip();

                    }

                      Hello:

                      for your example you just need

                      bmp1.dispose();

                      in order to release the memory from bmp1

                      and in general ....

                      1- if you use attachMovie or createEmpyMovieClip()

                      you should use mc1.removeMovieClip() to delete it

                      2- if you use LoadMovie()

                      you should use unloadMovie

                      regards
