Creating a Second Connection for Testing

I have a client who can’t publish their changes from editing mode. To troubleshoot this, I would like to try creating a connection to their site from my office and see if I have the same problem.

If I create a new connection, will that effect any settings, permissions or anything on their end? I know Contribute creates files with info on each connection that has been created and I don’t want to mess up any of their existing settings when I do some testing on my end.

          No.
The only changes will be ones that you make to the site or the admin
          intentionally.
