If you compile all your flex files before you put them on the server, such as the case when you work with the Flex IDE, any webserver will do since those are HTML files alongside SWF files.
If you want a server side solution, you will have to install Flex Data Services, which works only on J2EE servers, such as Apache and JRun.
If you build your app using Flex Builder, then deploying is just a matter of uploading a few files to your webserver. You upload your SWF, the HTML wrapper (generated by FB2), and the following support files:
All the files will be found in your project's bin directory.
The HTML wrapper is the app.html file?!
I want to learn the flex technologie and i'm a beginner in this domain.
sorry for my English.
Yes, the HTML wrapper is the app.html file. That is, if your app is myapp.swf, then there'll be a myapp.html wrapper file generated for you. Your users should access the html file to run your app.
