    Easy question... how do I install/import a class?

      Hello,

      I downloaded a class named MovieClipLoader6. However, I have no idea how to add it to my movie ( I tried import to library )... I searched google but I only found info on the import command.

          R.S
          1. go : edit->preference->actionscript -> actionscript2.0 settings
          2. defined the class path and put your new class in there. If you don't , you could place that class in the default folder.
          3. use the statement : import [className]
          in your movie frame or class files.

            The only places scripts go in Flash are in keyframes of a timeline or
            attached directly to buttons or movie clip symbols -- the latter, by the
            way, is no longer considered best practice.

            Well, that's all there is, really. ;)

            To add to what R.S. mentioned (all of which is correct) ... in
            ActionScript 2.0, you may or may not need the import statement. What it
            does is afford you the luxury of omitting a class's package (the fully
            qualified "address" or namespace that distinguishes this class from any
            other).

            See this article for additional detail.
