    MX 2004 Player

    freebull
I have accidently deleted a Flash MX 2004 source file.
I do, however, have the player document.
Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the player document (i.e.: open it in Flash and edit it) ?

you mean you delted the source FLA and still have the SWF and need to edit the SWF in the flash IDE?
Not really - you can import an SWF into flash but will lose a lot of editing capabilities.

SWF is to FLA like JPG is to PSD.

urami said it best once: "Can't get the the egg back after making an omellette."

There are decompilers out there but may not do what you want and I dont use them so maybe somebody
else here can advise you further.

Post the swf - the decompiliers work better then most people here think.
