      It seems to me that the TextInput component does not allow heights lower than the default component height, which is defined in m.core.UIComponent.DEFAULT_MEASURED_HEIGHT to 22. I gather this by looking at the component's source code where, in the measure method, this line appears:

      measuredHeight = Math.max(h, DEFAULT_MEASURED_HEIGHT);

      If anyone could shed some light into this and possibly provide a workaround to this issue (other than subclassing TextInput preferably), it would be greatly appreciated.
