    Click To Activate issue fix not working

    CPedrick
      I have been successful on a number of pages in using the AC_RunActiveContent.js functions supplied by Adobe to work around the "click to activate" issue.
      On one of my pages, for one particular Flash object, however, the script does not work. The page to hangs on load and the Flash object never appears (though other page content does).
      If I embed the object in the page directly, it works fine (except for the annoying "click to activate" issue).
      If I use the javascript function call to call a *different* flash object in the same page, it works fine (and corrects the "click to activate" issue).
      So it seems that it is only this one flash object that does not want to work with the javascript.
      The Flash object at issue is nothing fancy - just some very simple tween animation. Not even a button involved anywhere. As I said, if I embed it directly, it works great.
      Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
      I've checked paths and retyped parameters until I'm blue and can't figure it out.

      Here's the code that is failing (and working fine with other Flash objects):

      <script src="/saa/Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
      <script type="text/javascript">
      AC_FL_RunContent( 'codebase','https://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version= 7,0,0,0','width','560','height','100','src','\secure\agentcontent\lea\marketing\SalesZoneP gHead','quality','high','pluginspage','https://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer','movi e','\secure\agentcontent\lea\marketing\SalesZonePgHead' ); //end AC code
      </script>

      Here's the Flash object that runs perfectly when embedded (except for the "click to activate" issue) but fails when loaded as above:

      <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase=" http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0" width="560" height="100" id="SalesZonePgHead2" align="middle">
      <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
      <param name="movie" value="\secure\agentcontent\lea\marketing\SalesZonePgHead.swf" />
      <param name="loop" value="false" />
      <param name="quality" value="high" />
      <param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
      <embed src="\secure\agentcontent\lea\marketing\SalesZonePgHead.swf" loop="false" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="560" height="100" name="SalesZonePgHead2" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage=" http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />
      </object>

      TIA,
      Carolyn

          try the simpler methods at http://activecontent.blogspot.com

          its just three extra lines of html required, one near the top, one before
          you object/embed tags and one after .. the rest is the same object and embed
          tags etc as always .. no rewriting of these involved.
